5th VISYON press release

IT IS TIME TO FILM!

Each participating country has been assigned one of the European Youth Goals to create a short film about it, which will be filmed in their respective countries.

Two additional scripts based on European Youth Goals No. 5 "Mental health and wellbeing" and No. 9 "Space and participation for all" were created during a youth mobility in Athens and have already been filmed. The remaining films will be shot in the participating countries with the professional film agency Tanino Films from Italy and will take place from February to August 2024. Five participating countries, Romania, Bulgaria, Greece, Slovakia, and the Netherlands, have already completed their filming. From February 24th to 26th, the Greek team together with the Tanino Films team brought to life a script focused on EU Youth Goal No. 8 "Quality learning". Under the guidance of the Tanino team, the local Greek group managed to capture captivating scenes and collaborate with local talents, making every moment on set full of creativity and passion.

One of the members of the Greek group shared her filming experience: "VISYON was a unique project and my first experience with filmmaking. I had the opportunity to meet creative people from all over the world, exchange ideas, and collaborate with them." – Vasiliki. During April, FECE and Monomyths carried out their filming in Sofia and Urlati, with plenty of fun and no major issues. We will share photos and videos from their experiences on our main and partner social media accounts.

From May 9th to 11th, the Slovak team had the opportunity to film a movie based on EU Youth Goal No. 3 "Inclusive societies". And yEUth from the Netherlands just completed their filming in the final days of May. We are looking forward to their testimonies.

In the coming month, the last two countries, Malta and Spain, will have the opportunity to record a film based on the scripts they wrote. And from the end of August 2024, the 11 VISYON short films will be available to everyone! Stay tuned!
