Kick-off meeting
On 5 September 2024, the E-Tools project officially began with a kick-off meeting held in Ruse, Bulgaria. This initial meeting brought together representatives of partner organisations to align project goals, expectations and next steps. Hosted by the Bulgarian partner, the meeting served as a foundational moment for building shared understanding and collaboration among the consortium.
The main objective of the meeting was to plan the preparatory phase for the upcoming workshops, which represent a key milestone in the project. These workshops aim to provide youth workers with practical knowledge and skills related to digital tools that can be used to support project management. During the meeting, participants discussed the structure and objectives of the workshops, outlined partner responsibilities and explored a detailed timeline for the next phase of implementation.
Beyond logistical planning, the meeting fostered strong collaboration among project partners. Through open dialogue, group sessions and informal exchanges, the team built a sense of trust and shared ownership that will persist throughout the project's lifecycle. The meeting in Ruse not only marked the official launch of the project but also set a tone of collaboration and innovation that will characterise all future activities.

Our newsletter has reached over 400 subscribers!
We are pleased to announce that our newsletter has crossed the 400-subscriber mark. This growing interest reflects the relevance and impact of our capacity-building workshop, which focuses on equipping youth workers with practical knowledge of online project management tools. The high level of engagement demonstrates the need for accessible, digital resources for capacity building in the youth work sector. We are encouraged by the feedback and look forward to further sharing useful insights, updates and tools that support effective project implementation across Europe.
Meeting in Košice
From 10 to 13 March 2025, project partners met in Košice, Slovakia, for an in-person meeting hosted by Youthfully Yours SK. Representatives from ABC and Smart Idea attended the event, which was dedicated to the work of the validation committee. The main goal of the meeting was to evaluate the educational programme developed during the project and provide constructive recommendations for its further improvement.
Partners also discussed the relevance and long-term value of the newly launched online learning platform, which is available at https://e-tools-2835hmj.gamma.site. This platform brings together all key content from the capacity-building workshops that were previously held online, offering youth workers a structured and accessible learning tool. It serves as a practical reference for enhancing digital skills in project management and non-formal education.

LTTA in Slovenia
From 23 to 25 April 2025, project partner SMART organised a Learning, Teaching and Training Activity (LTTA) in Ljubljana, Slovenia. This event brought together youth workers from partner countries for an intensive programme focused on improving their digital competencies.
The training aimed to strengthen participants' skills in using online tools for effective project management, including planning, collaboration and monitoring techniques tailored to the needs of the youth work sector. A significant portion of the programme was also dedicated to exploring the use of artificial intelligence in project dissemination. Through interactive sessions and practical demonstrations, participants learned how to leverage AI tools to increase the visibility and reach of their initiatives.
The LTTA in Ljubljana played a key role in equipping youth workers with practical knowledge and strategies they can apply in their local and international projects, thereby contributing to the overall goal of building stronger, digitally empowered youth work communities.
