Kick-off Meeting

A new beginning for youth empowerment through creative expression

The ARTS project was officially launched in Murcia, Spain on 27 – 28 March 2025. The first transnational project meeting (TPM) brought together committed partners from Spain, Slovakia, Slovenia, Bulgaria, and other countries, marking a significant step forward in our shared vision to empower youth through creative expression and emotional resilience.

Key results from the TPM:

1. Manual development

We started by refining the manual structure. Partners discussed the objectives and scope, and created a modular content template that will guide the development of the ARTS project manual. This manual will include best practices and practical tools to help youth workers integrate creative and emotional resilience activities into their daily practice.

2. Dissemination strategy

The team worked together to finalise the dissemination strategy, ensuring the project's visibility and reach are maximised. This includes the development of a social media strategy, a dedicated website plan, and the identification of key responsibilities for each partner to ensure the successful dissemination of project results.

3. Selection of best practices

Partners selected a series of best practices for the next stages of the project, focusing on activities that support creativity and self-expression. These practices will serve as the foundation for the manual and will be implemented in future Learning, Teaching and Training Activities (LTTA).

4. Setting deadlines and next steps

With clear deadlines set for the upcoming phases, the team outlined the next steps and tasks necessary for the successful implementation of the project. This includes planning the next LTTA event, which will focus on the further development of creative tools and resources for youth workers.

What is next?

The project is moving forward with ambitious plans to further develop resources that will help youth workers and educators support creativity and emotional resilience in young people. Stay tuned for further updates as we work to empower youth through creative expression and build stronger, more resilient communities!

Special thanks
We would like to thank YOMN for hosting the meeting and all partners for their contributions. The team's energy and collaboration have set the stage for the great things ahead.
