Hi! My name is Emma, I come from a small village called Sučany, and I joined the Youthfully Yours team in May 2021. Why?

…

I really enjoy working with people, and for a few years now, I have been involved in many extracurricular activities and volunteering in various organisations. Besides that, I love learning foreign languages, which is why I have always wanted to take my activities to an international level. Thanks to my first Erasmus+ project in 2019, I got closer to non-formal education and was determined to continue pursuing it.

I have always wanted to focus on young people and contribute to their active engagement in society, and that is exactly what I have been able to do thanks to Youthfully Yours. Working in this organisation has given me the chance to improve in many ways and develop my skills and knowledge. Our team consists of amazing young people who are active, purposeful, and determined to educate themselves as well as motivate the people around them.

Youthfully Yours has given me a lot of valuable experience, and it has only confirmed to me that stepping out of one's “comfort zone” and taking hold of different opportunities is truly worth it. We create our future by what we do right now, which is why it is important to work on ourselves and try new things without being afraid of new tasks and challenges.
