YE Mind Me

YE Mind Me
Mind Me was a youth exchange that took place from March 10-17, 2026, in Ercolano, Italy.
Participants' experiences:
Laura Halászová:
"This Erasmus+ project was truly a unique and unforgettable experience for me. From the very beginning, I felt welcome, safe, and comfortable, surrounded by kind, open, and supportive people. Despite coming from different countries, we managed to build strong and genuine relationships in a very short time. What made this project exceptional was not just the friendships we formed, but the entire journey we shared. The project focused on self-development, which taught me many new things about myself and others. Every activity had its meaning, and I really appreciated how interactive and interesting the workshops were."
Bianka Kónyová:
"What stuck with me the most was how naturally we connected. There was kindness, respect, and a quiet understanding among us, even though we came from completely different cultures — Greeks, Spaniards, Italians, Slovaks. And yet, in such a short time, we became one. It wasn't forced or artificial — it was real. A connection that forms when people truly want to be present for each other. Even the simplest moments had value. Breaks, fresh air, random conversations — these were the times when we chose each other without any plan or obligation. And that's where the strongest bonds were formed."
Terézia Ščasná:
"We also talked a lot about stoicism and how important it is to realize what we can influence and what we cannot. It made me think differently about everyday things in life. We also tried breathing exercises to calm down, and it was really interesting to see how quickly your heart rate can change just by breathing differently. Another thing that made it all exceptional was the people. I met amazing people from all over Europe, and I'm really grateful for that. It was all so natural that you could talk to anyone and be yourself."

Diana Karasková:
"The food was excellent, and I also liked the accommodation, even though there were seven of us in the room. I didn't mind it at all, because we could be together practically 24/7 and get to know each other even better and create great connections. The atmosphere among the people was completely relaxed and easygoing. However, what I value most is the feeling that I could be completely present for a while and not worry about things at home. Every day had something new and interesting, and everything together made sense. This Erasmus was a great combination of fun, learning new things, and relaxation for me, and I'm glad I could connect with people from different countries like this. I would definitely do it again."
Alžbeta Jurčíková:
"The idea of the project was simply to slow down, to step out of the constant pressure and expectations for a while, and to focus more on myself. I can't explain it, but I felt very safe there and could confide in anyone with anything, because I knew no one would judge me for it. I like that I could create such a small bubble and forget about the problems in Slovakia. The whole experience was like a small break from reality for me, where I could just be and not think about problems. Overall, I am very grateful for this experience, and I already miss all those amazing people so much!! I can't wait to participate in something similar again."
Anna Urzdiková:
"Ever since we returned, I keep looking at the photos in my gallery and remembering what an amazing time we had there. I'm even looking for other projects now, because I'd like to experience something like that again... although I'm a bit worried if it can even be surpassed. The workshops were very interesting and powerful. The facilitators were amazing; one of them even created an app. We had many shared activities, space for sharing and reflection, and you could feel that everyone cared about how we felt. I must also mention the Cultural nights where I learned a lot, and I am truly grateful that I could share my culture with others. Overall, a big thank you to the coordinators, my group, the entire Youthfully Yours, the Erasmus+ program, and last but not least, the universe for allowing me to be there and experience all of this."
