Understanding Conflicts in a Picturesque German Town
As two participants, we represented Slovakia in a project in Germany called Conqueringconflict. Over two days, in cooperation with the organizers, we perfectly planned our trip, which was enriched not only by getting to know each other but also by making new friends who crossed our path during our adventure.

After several hours of traveling by plane, bus, and train, we finally arrived at our destination. The picturesque town of Rheinbach immediately won us over. The address coordinates led us to a hostel where the German organizers were already waiting for us. After a welcome, we received keys to our rooms, where we met other participants from various countries.

Every day was interesting in its own way. Through activities and lectures focused on the given topic, we learned more about the problems immigrants face in our society, as well as what Erasmus+ is and how to successfully implement your own project. These activities also included short breaks with refreshments, during which we had the opportunity to get to know the other participants better. Evenings were for relaxation or fun in the city.

During the five days, which passed very quickly, we met several new friends, visited German cities, tasted food and drinks that we prepared during Interculturalevening, improved our English and public speaking skills, gained new knowledge on the given topic, left our comfort zone, and embarked on an adventure.

We thank the organizers for allowing us to participate in this project and look forward to further cooperation.
