TC Play for Media Literacy

TC Play for Media Literacy
The project titled "Play for Media Literacy" took place from November 11 to 18, 2025, in the Bulgarian town of Bansko. The main goal of the project was to educate participants about the importance of understanding how media works and how to handle the endless amount of information coming from various sources. In today's world, where quality and verified information are key to success, it is a great advantage to be familiar with the techniques and methods that media often use to attract attention. That is why participating in this project was the right choice.

Through various games and activities, we had the opportunity to realize how the information we receive can often be misleading. We also had the chance to meet fantastic people from all over Europe. I am convinced that the bond we formed there will remain alive for a long time. Although the activities were sometimes challenging, the fun moments and the positive atmosphere that prevailed in Bansko will never fade from our memories. Staying in a pleasant part of Bulgaria, surrounded by mountains, further added to the uniqueness of this experience.

The project showed us new perspectives and methods on how to recognize media traps. It brought us new knowledge on this topic, as well as practical skills that I can use in my daily teaching practice. Thanks to this mobility, I also found that using games is a great way to engage students and make lessons more special.
Finally, I would like to add that the Erasmus+ program is not just about spending time in another part of the world. Its goal is to spread this idea further, because experience shows that it truly makes a difference.
