Social Media To Activate Youth And Communities v. 2.

Social Media To Activate Youth And Communities v. 2. through the eyes of Andrea and Sisi

The training course in Sicily on the use of social media was indescribable. From the very first day, we were well taken care of, and this experience continued until the end. The hotel and food were excellent. The organizers were well-prepared and planned a rich, packed, and interesting program for us. Through games, workshops, and group activities, we learned various ways of presenting on social media, teamwork, division of labor, basics of rhetoric... and we gained many other skills that we then applied in practice.

An unforgettable part of the program was the trip to Etna. Those who haven't seen it won't understand. Etna is unique. And again, it was perfectly organized. Even though the program was rich, the atmosphere was relaxed and friendly. The mood was incredible; we were all open, always had something to talk about and laugh at.

A valuable experience was living together with participants from other countries. We learned many interesting things, confirmed or disproved our stereotypes, and most importantly, we had a lot of fun together. There wasn't a single boring minute. In addition, we improved our English and even picked up a few Italian words.
A week in Sicily as part of this program gave me a lot. It was incredibly enriching. Non-formal education is very effective, and you can have a lot of fun with it. Getting to know other cultures is another huge plus. It's simply an unforgettable experience.
