Let's cook our heritage!

Before the project itself, that is, while arranging travel documents and so on, everything was stress-free and without problems. The first surprise awaited us immediately upon arrival in Madrid, where we met the other participants. Many of them were up to 20 years older than us. Initially, we were afraid that this age difference would be an obstacle to conversation and that we wouldn't have anything to talk about. However, after a few activities, we found that our fears were completely unfounded and everyone was truly wonderful. The discussions were much more interesting, and we were able to hear many different opinions. We, and most of the participants, really enjoyed the intercultural evenings. There were many opportunities to converse about our cultures and get to know each other better. The organizers were very kind, interesting, caring, energetic, and we quickly became friends with them. As for the accommodation, I think everyone was satisfied because it looked cozy, and the setting in the Spanish countryside also contributed to a peaceful atmosphere. We also tried many Spanish dishes, although for some of us, it included too much fish. The program was always packed and also contained great diversity, given that some activities were prepared by groups from different nations, allowing us to get to know other cultures even better.
