In mid-May, we had the opportunity to participate in an Erasmus+ training course focused on facilitation in Cascais, Portugal. It was an unforgettable experience, as the project provided us with a wealth of important knowledge, delivered in an engaging and humorous way, making the learning process enjoyable and memorable.

One of the highlights of the training course was the opportunity to facilitate our own workshops. Through practical exercises and simulations, we were able to apply the facilitation techniques and tools we learned during the program. This hands-on approach not only enhanced our understanding of facilitation but also boosted our confidence in leading group activities and discussions.

The course's location added another layer of excitement and beauty to the experience. Cascais, a picturesque coastal town, offered stunning beaches and breathtaking views. During our free time, we had the chance to relax and spend time by the sea, sunbathing and enjoying the refreshing ocean breeze. The charm of Cascais was further enhanced by its proximity to other renowned destinations like Lisbon and Sintra. We had the opportunity to explore these vibrant cities and immerse ourselves in their rich history, culture, and architecture.

The trainers themselves were knowledgeable, approachable, and passionate about the subject matter. They created a supportive and inclusive learning environment where everyone's ideas and contributions were valued. They also incorporated various interactive activities, group discussions, and team-building exercises, ensuring that we remained engaged and actively involved throughout the course.

Beyond the professional development aspect, the training course fostered a sense of camaraderie among the participants. We formed lasting connections and friendships with people from diverse backgrounds, exchanging ideas, experiences, and cultural perspectives. We are truly grateful for the eight wonderful days we spent there, for the beautiful time on the amazing beaches, and for the unforgettable memories we created.
