What activities do we offer?
Non-formal education (NFE) at the local/domestic level. In our organization, we collaborate with trainers who truly live for non-formal education. Thanks to them and numerous international collaborations, we cover a wide range of topics. We focus on: Participation in civil society (and active citizenship), Entrepreneurial skills (with an overlap into employability), Sustainable development (especially in terms of ecological sustainability and a healthy lifestyle – SDG is a very broad group of sub-themes, but we utilize our capacities in project management and enable young people – like you – to develop in this area through their project activities: solidarity projects, youth exchanges). Since its inception, we have cross-sectionally addressed the topic of youth empowerment and their position in society; this topic has gained more of our attention, especially in connection with the COVID-19 pandemic and its impacts on young people.
We provide NFE activities in the form of seminars, training, and other educational activities. We cooperate with local secondary schools, educational centers, youth centers, and universities in their organization. Volunteering / internship at YYSK – an opportunity to join our team: Are you a high school/university student and want to polish your CV? Show that you didn't just sit in classes, but you also do something extra! Since 2017, we have helped dozens of interns and volunteers gain the competencies needed for practice. Many of them currently receive prestigious scholarships, intern for EU institutions, or work in the education sector. Info: (Link).
We also offer volunteering and internship opportunities to international participants through Erasmus+, ESC, Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs, and the European Social Fund programs (Link).
International mobilities: we provide assistance and support for participation in youth exchanges, training, seminars, job-shadowing, and other educational activities abroad. Thanks to nearly a hundred verified partnerships, we send approximately 300 participants annually for short-term educational mobilities. In short, short-term mobilities allow groups of young people from different countries to meet, live together, and work on common projects for a short period (5 to 21 days for youth exchanges). The goal of mobilities is to improve your skills, gain new experiences, knowledge, broaden your horizons, and learn to live with young people from other countries in peace and understanding. (Link)

What benefits do you gain when you join us?
Specific rights and obligations are detailed in Article V. of our statutes (Link).
By paying the membership fee, you become a part of the organization. We will gladly send you on mobilities of your choice and welcome you to our local activities. If you pay the membership fee in December, you become a part of the organization for the entire following calendar year as well.
The membership fee for the calendar year 2023 is 80€. If you are a recipient of a social scholarship or a person with severe disabilities and can document this fact, we do not require a membership fee from you. The membership fee is non-refundable; an exception to this rule is subject to approval by the presidency.
If, for any reason, you are unable to participate in a mobility, please notify the coordinator immediately and appropriately. If you find a replacement who meets the participation conditions within the specified time, this cancellation will not affect your participation in the organization and its activities, i.e., you can continue to participate in other mobilities in the given calendar year and continue to be involved in our local activities.
