The "Beyondthelimits" training took place from August 8th to 17th in Slovakia. Its goal was to develop the leadership skills of youth workers, social workers, and youth leaders. The educational activities also strengthened their competencies for better cooperation, communication, and problem-solving related to youth work.

The Beyondthelimits training brought together 24 participants from 6 countries, including Slovakia. The activities utilized non-formal education and experiential learning approaches. As this was a mobility for youth workers, emphasis was placed on applying the acquired knowledge in practice – for subsequent transfer and application in the local communities of the involved partners.

Beyondthelimits offered an innovative educational approach combining methods suitable for imparting theoretical knowledge with outdoor activities and rope techniques. The program of activities allowed for the development of participants' attitudinal components of competencies, which we consider essential in the topic of leadership. Participants were invited to step out of their comfort zones, exposed to challenging situations where they could apply their communication skills and develop teamwork. Rope techniques were conducted under the supervision of certified instructors from HK UPJŠ. Instructor Patrik Berta explained the construction of rope obstacles and their use in youth work. The topic of team leadership and leadership in youth work was covered by trainer Ivan Rosa from YouthfullyYours SK. Participants developed communication skills and cooperation under the guidance of IevaFridmane from Open Sense (Latvia).

The aim of the training was to contribute to increasing the quality of youth work in the local communities of partner organizations. For this reason, all activities were directed towards application in working with young people. The training took place in the peaceful environment of the Jahodná resort, in Košice. The surrounding forests and nature enhanced the participants' reflection.
