CREATE YOUR OWN ENVIRONMENTAL

The youth exchange will take place from September 22 to October 5 in Xàtiva (Valencia), Spain.

Main objective: To enable young people to become active creators and facilitators of environmental education activities and to equip them with the knowledge and tools to launch their own Erasmus+ youth projects and participate in European mobility programs.

Project objectives:

• Empower participants by giving them the space and basic knowledge to create their own
  informal education blocks on environmental topics.

• Support youth participation and the entrepreneurial spirit of participants by providing them with
  the tools and knowledge to start working with the Erasmus+ Youth program.

• Facilitate national and international youth mobility through European programs such as
  Erasmus+, ESC, and Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs.

Working language: English.

Number of participants: minimum 4+1, maximum 6+1

Ideal participant profile:

• 18+

• enthusiastic about organizing environmental activities for youth in their community;

• looks forward to facilitating blocks by learning through practice and their own experience (with little or no
  previous facilitation experience);

• who has experience or interest in environmental sustainability topics;

• open-minded, adaptable to change, and ready to step out of their comfort zone;

• who enjoys meeting people from other countries and wants to live together in an intercultural environment.

Important information:

Accommodation, meals, materials, and travel costs (up to the maximum allowed amount) are covered.

Travel cost limits: 309 €

Extremely important: Keep all travel documents and tickets for reimbursement – the participant must keep the travel document to and from the venue and hand it over / send it to the project organizer according to their instructions.

Insurance: Travel insurance is not covered or reimbursed by the organizers. Each participant is obliged to arrange health insurance valid in Spain.

• Purchase tickets only after written confirmation from the organizers.

• All participants must attend all meetings and subsequently all dissemination activities.
