Project organizer: BFR Youth

The youth exchange will take place from August 10 – 17, 2025 in Jelgava, Latvia

Main objective: FINDING WAYS TO OPEN UP THROUGH CREATIVE EXPRESSION, SHARE YOUR STORY AND BE OPEN TO OTHERS

Working language: English.

Number of participants: 8+2

Ideal participant profile:

18 – 24 YEARS OLD (NO AGE LIMIT FOR GROUP LEADERS)
SPEAKS ENGLISH (BASIC KNOWLEDGE IS SUFFICIENT)
INTERESTED IN ORAL HISTORY, STORYTELLING, CREATIVITY AND DIVERSITY
READY TO SHARE EXPERIENCES AND LISTEN TO OTHERS
ABLE TO PARTICIPATE FOR THE ENTIRE DURATION OF THE PROJECT
INTERESTED IN VARIOUS ARTISTIC METHODS

Important information:

Accommodation, meals, materials and travel costs (up to the maximum allowed amount) are covered.

Travel cost limits: 309 € (417 € for green travel)

Extremely important: Keep all travel documents and tickets for reimbursement – the participant must keep the travel document to and from the venue and hand it over / send it to the project organizer according to their instructions.

Insurance: Travel insurance is not covered or reimbursed by the organizers. Each participant is obliged to take out health insurance valid in Latvia.

Purchase tickets only after written confirmation from the organizers.
All participants must attend all meetings and subsequent dissemination activities.
