Project Organizer: COSI

The youth exchange will take place from September 11 – 19, 2025 in Bușteni, Romania.

Main Goal: The aim of this project is to support and strengthen the many ways young people engage in democracy today — whether through activism, volunteering, or new forms of civic engagement. It focuses on ensuring their voices are heard, their rights are protected, and democratic systems are open and accessible to all young people.

Project Objectives:

Improve the competencies of 30 youth workers in promoting youth participation and active citizenship by exchanging effective tools, success stories, and engaging programs.
Promote active citizenship and youth participation among local young people by creating engaging awareness campaigns and empowering programs.
Strengthen the capacities of 10 NGOs to support young people in becoming active citizens in their communities by developing joint campaigns and international projects.

Ideal Participant Profile:

18+
Youth workers, volunteers, motivated young people

Important Information:

Accommodation, meals, materials, and travel costs (up to the maximum allowed amount) are covered.

Travel Cost Limits: 309 € (417 € for green travel)

Extremely Important: Keep all travel documents and tickets for reimbursement – participants must retain travel documents to and from the venue and submit them / send them to the project organizer according to their instructions.

Insurance: Travel insurance is not covered or reimbursed by the organizers. Each participant is required to arrange health insurance valid in Romania.

Purchase tickets only after written confirmation from the organizers.
All participants must attend all meetings and subsequent dissemination activities.
