#NormShift: Empowering Youth for Alcohol-Free and Healthy Lifestyles in the Digital Age

The training will take place from December 7 – 12, 2025 in Košice, Slovakia.
Main objective: To equip youth workers and leaders with innovative tools and methodologies to promote alcohol prevention and healthy lifestyles among adolescents.
Training description: During the comprehensive 4-day training program, you will explore the NormShift Toolkit, including specialized training programs, hybrid methods for preparing peer educators, and mentoring approaches that combine online and offline peer education. In interactive workshops and practical sessions, you will learn how to implement youth-led content creation, develop digital advocacy campaigns, and lead meaningful discussions with young people aged 15-18 on alcohol prevention. The training will provide you with ready-to-use materials, proven methodologies, and the opportunity to exchange experiences with experts from across Europe, enabling you to make a lasting impact in your youth work. All materials will be available in your language, and you will receive comprehensive support in implementing these innovative approaches in your organization and community.

good level of English
IMPORTANT: Participants must pilot test the training program in Slovakia with adolescents aged 15-18 in a school, youth center, or other educational institution. Details on exact numbers, materials, and support will be provided if you are selected as a participant.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION:
Travel, accommodation, meals, materials, and travel costs (up to the maximum allowed amount) are covered.
Extremely important: Keep all travel documents and tickets for reimbursement – the participant must retain travel documents to and from the venue and submit them / send them to the project organizer according to their instructions.
Insurance: Travel insurance is NOT covered by the organizers or reimbursed. Each participant is obliged to arrange health insurance valid in Slovakia.
Purchase tickets only after written confirmation from the organizers.
All participants must attend all meetings and subsequent activities for dissemination of results and pilot testing.
