APV Think Smarter
Project Organizer: Youth Dynamics, Cyprus
The "Think Smarter" Youth Exchange will take place from February 19 – 27, 2025 in Pervolia, Cyprus. The APV will be held from December 6 – 8 in Pervolia, Cyprus. This Erasmus+ project will bring together 56 participants from 7 EU countries to explore alternative learning methods that foster creativity, critical thinking, and social engagement without the use of technology.
Project Objectives
Promote alternative learning methods that are not dependent on digital tools.
Encourage social skills, civic engagement and teamwork in a supportive environment.
Foster mutual respect, intercultural dialogue, and understanding across cultural and social backgrounds.
Equip participants with the ability to identify hoaxes, strengthen media literacy, and think critically.
Prepare participants for active involvement in democratic processes at national, European, and global levels.
Through non-formal activities such as workshops and outdoor group tasks, participants will gain invaluable skills while enjoying the peaceful seaside environment of Pervolia.
Participants:
Ages 18 – 30
At least a basic level of English.
Enthusiastic, eager to learn, and committed to engaging in all phases of the project.
Accommodation and Meals
Participants will be accommodated in fully furnished apartments at the Journalistic Village in Pervolia, which have private bathrooms, kitchens, and Wi-Fi. Meals and refreshments will be provided directly at Enalia Restaurant, ensuring a comfortable and collaborative stay.
Key Information
APV Dates: December 6 – 8, 2024.
Youth Exchange Dates: February 19 – 27, 2025.
Travel Reimbursement: Up to 309 € for Slovakia.
Participation Fee: 20 € (covers cultural excursions and additional activities).
Working Language: English.
Additional Information
Participants are responsible for retaining and submitting all travel documents for reimbursement. Tickets must be approved by the host organization before purchase. Travel insurance is not reimbursed and must be arranged individually.
