Youth Work 4.0 final conference successfully held at the University of Prešov

The final conference of the Youth Work 4.0: Digital Mastery project took place on 3 December 2025 at the University of Prešov, bringing together teachers, educators, youth workers, digital experts, and stakeholders interested in the future of education and youth work in the digital age.

During the conference, the project partnership presented key Youth Work 4.0 results, with a special focus on the toolkit and webinar series developed as practical resources for educators and youth workers. These outputs aim to support the integration of digital and AI-driven tools into educational practice, strengthening digital competencies and innovative teaching approaches.

In addition to presenting project results, the conference hosted a series of expert contributions on artificial intelligence and digital technologies in education. Researchers from the University of Prešov shared the latest trends and research results in the field of AI usage in educational settings, offering participants an academic perspective on the opportunities and challenges related to AI-supported learning.

The program also included highly practical sessions. Marcel Prievoznik provided practical insights into developing educational applications using AI tools, demonstrating how educators can transform ideas into functional digital solutions. Zuzana Tkáčová introduced participants to an overview of the latest AI tools for education, with a special focus on NotebookLM and its potential to support learning and content creation.

To highlight the engaging and interactive side of AI education, Jakub Spišak organized AI Battles, where participants competed in their prompting skills. This activity showed how AI-related learning can be both educational and fun, fostering creativity, critical thinking, and collaboration.

The conference concluded with a contribution from partner organization EduSteps, which shared updates on education reform in Slovakia, particularly in relation to integrating digital tools and innovative methodologies into formal education.

The Youth Work 4.0 partnership would like to thank the University of Prešov for hosting the final conference, as well as all speakers and participants for their active engagement and valuable contributions. The event marked an important milestone in the project, strengthening a shared commitment to advancing digital proficiency and innovative practices in youth work and education.
