You(th)Rright! Human Rights Consciousness for Youth Workers

This was my first Erasmus experience. I didn't know what to expect, but I was intrigued and decided to participate. The accommodation was in the beautiful town of Ommen, which we immediately fell in love with. Beautiful surroundings, kind people, everything was great. About 40 people from various countries participated in the Erasmus program. We discussed human rights, a topic I had never been particularly interested in before, but I realized how important it is to know and understand it. I also learned a lot about human rights that I hadn't known until then. Besides communicating in English for the first time in practice, I also improved my speaking skills and vocabulary. I met many amazing people there, experienced a great atmosphere, made new friends, and also stepped out of my comfort zone.

I definitely recommend Erasmus to anyone who wants not only to improve their English, communication, and vocabulary but also to learn many things on topics that interest them and see them from a different perspective. I dare say it was one of the best experiences I've ever had. It truly enriched me and gave me a lot. I really liked that it took place through informal conversations, various activities, and games, so it wasn't like a school lecture, but genuinely enjoyable, and often brought laughter. Overall, it was very well organized, the accommodation was fine, and the meals were excellent. Besides learning many things, we also had the opportunity to get to know the country and local culture.
