YE Theatre of Dreams

In early August, our Slovak group participated in the youth exchange "Theatre of Dreams," held from August 3 to 9, 2025, in the picturesque town of Bollendorf, Germany. The project was organized by Youthfully Yours in collaboration with partners from Germany, Luxembourg, Liechtenstein, Spain, Ireland, and Slovakia, and was supported by the Erasmus+ program. The main goal of the exchange was to foster intercultural understanding and creativity among young Europeans through theater and dance. Under the theme of fairy tales and emotions, participants explored artistic expression, teamwork, and emotional awareness, while building new friendships across borders.

During our stay, we significantly improved our teamwork and learned to overcome various challenges together. In workshops, we practiced clearly expressing emotions, the ability to view things from different perspectives, and a better understanding of life situations. These experiences helped us grow not only personally but also in our ability to collaborate with people from different cultures.

While traveling, we gained valuable experience with various modes of transport – from airplanes, buses, and trains to local public transport. We learned to plan trips efficiently, navigate timetables, and manage longer routes with patience. Unexpected situations taught us to react flexibly and quickly find solutions.

For us, travel became not just a journey from point A to point B, but also an opportunity to get to know the country, meet local people, and glimpse into their daily lives. In doing so, we formed new friendships and built relationships with young people from various European countries.
