YE Connecting Cultures & Future

The Erasmus+ project with the theme Connecting Cultures and Futures gave us the opportunity to experience other cultures through movement games and orienteering, where, in addition to cultures, we also got to know the town of Aguiar de Beira in Portugal (where the entire project took place). I must also mention canoeing, golf (which many of us tried for the first time), and cycling. A visit to the town of Viso brought us even closer as a group. Cultural Nights were another great activity for getting to know new cultures, customs, traditions, food, and also music.

We were accommodated in a sports complex with a football field, which was often used outside the program for various games and evening stargazing. We went to a nearby elementary school for meals. Everyone always found something they liked, whether from the buffet selection or local fruits and vegetables.

I recommend everyone who is interested in meeting new people, cultures, expanding their knowledge on a given topic, and last but not least, traveling and having fun, to get involved in an Erasmus+ project.
