TC Capture the Future & Guide and Workshops

The experience we gained during this training in Elniakampis, Lithuania, was very beneficial in terms of the numerous soft skills we acquired throughout all our meetings, which took place in an informal learning environment. During this short-term training, which lasted 8 days, we managed to learn the necessary basics of photography along with the need to work in a diverse community of people around us. The education was provided by professionals in the field with a great sense of responsibility and patience on their part.

During the intensive training, we managed to get our hands on photo editing software such as Photoshop or Lightroom, where we all started from scratch. We learned that patience is key in photography, and in addition to photography, we also tried working with studio equipment, where we could try installing all the devices ourselves. We also consider it unique that, as youth workers, we tried sharing our know-how gained during the project at a high school in Vilnius with local students, where we led classes teaching students about the basics of the Erasmus+ program and the “Capture the Future” project. Alongside the work, we managed to build bonds and friendships with people of other nationalities, which we consider a big part of Erasmus+ projects that last long after the projects end.
