Street Art as a form of collaboration and learning

This Erasmus+ project had a rather unusual theme – Street Art. Thanks to this theme, I learned something new in many different areas. As is often the case with Erasmus projects, I had the chance to communicate and think in English for over a week. Moreover, in terms of languages, I learned new words and heard some languages for the first time. I discovered many things about other cultures and their customs. Sometimes it was surprising to me how much we differed in certain things and opinions. But since the project involved tolerant, open-minded people, these differences only led to interesting discussions and new ideas.

This Erasmus+ also helped me to trust people more and to be honest – with them, and with myself.

On the other hand, because the theme was Street Art, I also gained new experiences in this field. A big challenge for everyone was collaborating on painting murals – many artists would say that this is impossible for such a large group.

It taught us not only tolerance, but also how to find our place in a team and opportunities for personal development within it. It taught us to find a balance between team needs and personal needs, preferences.

In addition, I gained practical experience with something completely new – painting a mural and organizing such a large project from conception to the final product.

I am also very grateful to the project organizers, INPRO, because the project was excellently planned. Despite my doubts, everything went on time and we had no problems. This is certainly due to the great planning, activities, and approach. The accommodation was also beautiful, clean, literally luxurious. Similarly, the food was tasty, high-quality, and varied within the possibilities.
