EntrepreneurShip (II) – Sailing to Success

This project took place from November 24, 2019, to December 3, 2019, in Slettestrand, Denmark.

The primary goal of the project was to strengthen the role of the youth sector and thereby support young entrepreneurs through an enhanced network of organizations and increased capacity of youth workers in non-formal education in entrepreneurship. During the course, the main objectives were to provide participants with knowledge about entrepreneurship, including creative thinking, problem-solving, decision-making, identifying strengths and weaknesses, idea generation, and the pitching method.

A total of 25 participants from various countries took part in the project, aiming to support youth entrepreneurship.

InterCollege provided the main topics and activities related to entrepreneurship and non-formal education.

- Ice-breaking, getting to know each other, team building, and dynamic group activities specifically designed to help participants create a pleasant learning environment

- Introduction to the topic of entrepreneurship itself

- A visit to SEA University in Aalborg to learn more about how entrepreneurship is supported there

- Realistic examples from life in the form of presentations and training sessions, whose role was to help understand entrepreneurship in reality and motivate participants to start their own businesses

- Presentation by a local entrepreneur

Participants had the opportunity to learn more about the socio-cultural background of other participating countries, not only through the intercultural evening but also through prepared activities held every evening, such as dance lessons, board games, and a special activity called “Duke of Slettestrand.”

At the end of the course, each participant received a Youthpass containing all the competencies acquired during the training course. The Youthpass certificate is a tool for documenting and recognizing learning outcomes through youth work activities. It is available for all projects funded by Erasmus+ as part of the European Commission's strategy to support the recognition and dissemination of non-formal education in practice.
