I want YOU(th) – APV

The first day of the APV began with our arrival at Bergamo airport. There, I had the opportunity to meet leaders from other countries. Together, we traveled to the town of Galbiate, where the organizer was waiting for us and transported us to the project location. During this time, we engaged in discussions and shared our previous experiences.

The following day, we collectively focused on planning the youth exchange program. The second day of the APV was dedicated to preparing the logistics, program, and activities of the project. We exchanged information about our organizations, experiences, and the needs of the participants.

Given that the project's theme concerns volunteering, we agreed that part of the program would be dedicated to visiting and participating in the activities of a local volunteer organization. We successfully created a program that includes activities such as icebreakers, energizers, group discussions, practical workshops, and a cultural evening. During the cultural evening, participants from various countries will present aspects of their culture, its customs, and traditions.

With the other leaders, we divided responsibilities during the planning of the agreed-upon activities. It was a valuable experience with wonderful people in the inspiring environment of the Italian countryside.

I believe that the upcoming youth exchange will have a wonderful impact on its participants, and the exchange of ideas and cultures will be enriching. The mix of diverse backgrounds and talents guarantees a truly exceptional experience for all involved.
