Hearful Leader TC in Slovenia pt. 2

Heartful Leader TC in Slovenia pt. 2
To be honest, I expected a leadership training, as you probably would too, given that the name of this Erasmus project was 'Heartful Leader'. However, this training wasn't about leadership in the way you usually imagine it, when we associate this word with politics or management. This training showed us how to be in touch with our emotions and body. The entire program was exceptionally playful, interactive, and focused on mindfulness. The surrounding greenery and a group of wonderful people helped us relax and disconnect from social media (slow Wi-Fi and weak signal also contributed to this). During the training, we used improvisation structures, which was a completely new concept for me. I felt like I could be creative and play as if I were a child, and I truly enjoyed that.
During the training, we were accommodated in a renovated barn on an ecological farm in Frankolovo. Throughout the entire training, we enjoyed delicious and healthy vegan and vegetarian food. I especially liked that we had fresh homemade bread every day!

There were two Slovaks at the training. For both Martin and me, it was our first visit to Slovenia. During our free day, we visited Celje and the interactive amusement park Tehnopark Celje, and we also went to the beautiful town of Laško. We also tried the Slovenian non-alcoholic drink Cockta, and I must admit, I liked it more than our Kofola.
Overall, this Erasmus training allowed me to self-reflect a lot, relax, and meet amazing and inspiring people whom I definitely want to meet again in the future.
