Fatigue, stress, obligations, lack of sleep, many tests... everything was coming at us at an incredible speed and negatively affecting our energy levels and zest for life. This realization led us to the firm decision to take a break from the daily worries and difficulties of ordinary high school life, to experience new adventures, meet new people, forge friendships and unforgettable memories of time spent with them, and to gain practical knowledge and insight in the area of "gender equality".

After successfully applying for the project, we immediately enthusiastically began planning our trip. Our prospects, of course, also included days spent in beautiful Rome, rich in historical monuments. The Colosseum became our reference point for these few days, specifically two, as we often deliberately got lost there to enjoy the magic of this enchanting place. To this day, we are waiting for the wish to come true that we made when throwing coins into the well-known Trevi Fountain, and we also racked our brains at an ice cream parlor over choosing five out of at least a hundred unusual flavors.

After these two packed days full of experiences, we eagerly moved to a small town called Orvieto. From there, it was just an hour's drive until we reached our final destination, which became our home for the next week. The unexpected welcome from the other participants and organizers left a great impression on us and bridged the gap of ignorance and confusion.

The following days continued in a similar spirit, and with each activity, we felt not only an increasing sense of belonging and team spirit but also a closer connection and understanding of the topic and importance of gender equality. Open discussions, sharing personal experiences and stories, the visual, musical, and organizational readiness of the organizers...

All of this (and there's much more) definitely opened up space for our opinions, brought new perspectives and views on the given topic, and helped us realize how extensive and extremely important the topic of gender equality is. Just as quickly, due to the interesting and engaging nature of the project, we easily managed to forget about the absence of signal and the existence of the online world.

In conclusion, all that remains is to thank everyone for the opportunity to participate in an unforgettable project full of unforgettable moments, unforgettable people, and excellent Italian cuisine.
