Dig 'IT On

Dig ‘IT On
Our project began with our arrival in the small village of Weicherdange in Luxembourg. The project "Dig 'It On", as the name suggests, was primarily focused on developing skills in technology and also on expanding our creativity. Like every project, this one also needed some icebreakers so that we could get to know each other a little and cooperate. For example, we introduced ourselves, learned names, or divided into groups according to sock colors. Each of us brought something different to the project. Someone focused on the world of social media, and the best photos and videos received awards. We presented our countries from the perspective of the political situation, law, economics, and pointed out various interesting statistics or facts that caught our attention.

We took a trip to Luxembourg together on one beautiful sunny day and also got to know the beauties of this small but picturesque country. The previous day, we promoted youth participation through various formats; some chose to do it using social media reels, memes, and some, so my group chose poetry as a way of promotion. Every end is difficult, and this was no exception; in the last activity, we wrote something nice and were grateful for this experience. We met new friends from all over the world, discovered new possibilities, and opened our "mental bubbles".

The most beneficial activity, where we could test not only our linguistic but also tactical skills, was the simulation of the European Parliament, where we discussed mandatory or optional vaccination in schools, which is also a very debated topic today. The intercultural night provided entertainment and good food. It included a presentation of countries, national games or dances, and last but not least, a lot of laughter.
