Bread and Roses

Bread and Roses was the first project I participated in, but I hope it won't be the last. Even during the first few days, I felt like I had learned a lot, thanks to the large number of activities we had every day. Of course, this exchange was enriching for me not only in terms of the project's theme, but it also helped me open my mind more to new ideas and viewpoints, communicate better and more effectively in a foreign language, and thanks to some activities, my group work skills improved, which can sometimes be challenging.

The food was great, and the lady who prepared it even more so. The time organization had its flaws, as did the organization of the evening program (especially Intercultural Night). A big downside was arriving with heavy suitcases that we had to drag uphill ourselves in 35-degree heat along a gravel path. However, we told the organizers about this, and they helped us with it on the way back.

Despite a few drawbacks, I would definitely recommend everyone to go on an exchange, because it is an experience that cannot be described in words. It is not only an opportunity to improve language skills and gain new knowledge, but also an excellent opportunity for self-development and making new friends from different parts of Europe (or even the world).
