Seminar - How to prevent cyberbullying
The seminar within the project Stop cyberbullying among you(th) will take place in Slovenia - Muta from September 12 to 16, 2021. Detailed information can be found in the Info Pack
Seminar objectives:
We will train 8 youth workers and education sector stakeholders on how to prevent cyberbullying and body-shaming among young people
Within the participating organizations, we will exchange knowledge on participatory research.
We will acquire methods suitable for empowering young people and boosting their self-confidence.
We will provide youth workers and representatives of youth organizations with information on what causes cyberbullying and how to prevent it.
We will discuss the role of the internet in the lives of today's young people and how to behave safely online.
Among the participating organizations, we will share proven methods, tools, training materials, and examples of good practice in empowering young people's self-confidence and preventing cyberbullying.
Participant profile
You are a youth worker / education professional working with young people / youth leader in direct contact with young people
You have the opportunity to implement and disseminate acquired competencies in youth work/activities
You have basic knowledge of cyberbullying and body-shaming topics
You are determined to implement acquired competencies in your community
You have fluent English and are not afraid to use it.
How to apply?

Then we will ask you to:
- fill out the application form
- propose a travel plan
and we will arrange a personal / online meeting to discuss your participation in more detail.
