Join our team as a volunteer and take responsibility for one of these positions:
Mobility and Local Activities Coordinator
Do you have:
basic knowledge of Excel / Sheets
fluent English (the working language is English, so you have the opportunity to improve your skills)
experience in coordinating people, delegating tasks, leading a team to achieve a set goal
experience with non-formal education
a minimum of 4 hours per week that you want to dedicate to volunteering
Editor
Do you have:
basic knowledge of FB planner, creator, Canva, Adobe
experience managing a page/group on social media
experience creating content for social media
basic knowledge of Excel / Sheets
fluent English = excellent grammar (the working language is English, so you have the opportunity to improve your skills)
a minimum of 4 hours per week that you want to dedicate to volunteering
WP Editor / Developer
Do you have:
experience with WP editing
experience with website building, optimization, SEO
basic knowledge of Excel / Sheets
fluent English = excellent grammar (the working language is English, so you have the opportunity to improve your skills)
a minimum of 4 hours per week that you want to dedicate to volunteering
Activities Facilitator
Do you:
have a genuine interest in non-formal education
need a space to start facilitating activities, or have you already started and are looking for a team where you can grow
enjoy listening to people
have basic knowledge of Excel / Sheets
have fluent English (the working language is English, so you have the opportunity to improve your skills)
have the opportunity to travel, can you take time off for a full-day activity or a week-long mobility
And.. What would I do?
- you would participate in the implementation of educational activities for youth,
- you would experience non-formal education and experiential learning,
- you would participate in the organization of events and projects in Slovakia and abroad,
- you would attend various preparatory meetings, you would listen a lot, talk, and persuade,
- you would communicate with our foreign partners and establish new partnerships,
- you would improve your people skills, social media marketing, and foreign languages.
And.. What's in it for me?

- the opportunity to develop your "soft skills" (don't know what that means? - use Google),
- the opportunity to prioritize participation in our projects; interns are regularly sent to training courses within Slovakia and abroad. If you don't like to travel and explore, this position might not be for you,

- many friends of the "same blood type" across Europe
What you won't get?
- a "square office" with a coffee machine - most of the work tasks for an intern / volunteer can be done from home, school, or your favorite cafe. If you prefer a shared space, we will gladly welcome you at Hlavná 70 in Košice,
- "square" colleagues and obligatory conversations - every YY member has several study stays, internships, or volunteer activities at home and abroad. We provide what we have experienced ourselves. Are you interested in this topic? We can shorten your path..
- limited time - the time you dedicate to us is flexible, whether you work continuously, sporadically, in the morning or at night - just Get it Done! (the times for individual positions represent the minimum time commitment based on our experience so far)
- the opportunity to be bored - an intern / volunteer gets acquainted with many different activities, from bureaucracy to communication to creative work; work tasks require discipline and high work ethic but are not monotonous.
