Youthfully Yours SK regularly provides an opportunity for young people interested in building their competencies and contributing to the development of their community, as well as professionals willing to dedicate a part of their time to the benefit of Slovak youth, to get involved in the organization's activities.
What you won't get?
- a "square office" with a coffee machine - most of the work tasks for an intern / volunteer position can be done from home, school, or your favorite cafe. If you prefer a shared space, we will gladly welcome you at Hlavná 70 in Košice,
- "square" colleagues and obligatory conversations - every YY member has several study stays, internships, or volunteer activities at home and abroad behind them. We provide what we have experienced ourselves. Are you interested in this topic? We can shorten your path..
- fixed time - the time you dedicate to us is flexible, whether you work continuously, sporadically, in the morning or at night - just Get it Done! (the times for individual positions represent the minimum time commitment based on our experience so far)
- the opportunity to be bored - an intern / volunteer gets acquainted with many different activities, from bureaucracy to communication to creative work, work tasks require discipline and high work ethic, but they are not stereotypical.
and.. What would I do then?
- you would get involved in the implementation of educational activities for youth,
- you would try out non-formal education and experiential learning,
- you would participate in the organization of events and projects in Slovakia and abroad,
- you would attend various preparatory meetings, you would listen a lot, talk and persuade,
- you would communicate with our foreign partners and establish new partnerships,
- you would improve your work with people, social media marketing and foreign languages.
and.. What's in it for me?
- responsibility,
- opportunity to develop your "soft skills" (don't know what that means? - use Google),
- opportunity to primarily participate in our projects, we regularly send interns to trainings within Slovakia and abroad. If you don't like to travel and explore, this position may not be for you,
