#5030Remember - Final Conference in Bucharest

"Youthfully Yours SK, in cooperation with nine other organizations, initiated collaboration on the project ‘50+30’ (supported by Europe for Citizens), which focuses on the current state and promotion of youth commemorative activities in Europe." - we wrote this sentence around the same time in 2019. Since then, 2 years have passed, the world has fundamentally changed, and we, like everyone else, have grown older. What has not aged, however, are the goals of the #5030remember project. From initial planning in Nice, Instagram creation, Memorial Walk in the center of Košice, and a conference in Berlin, we have now reached the final point. This was the final conference in Bucharest, which took place from December 10 to 17, 2021.

Youthfully Yours SK was represented by 3 participants who, in addition to attending 2 webinars and 2 Facebook video events, also prepared interesting videos, to which the hosts and international speakers themselves responded. The conference was not just about summarizing the milestones achieved so far. Its concept was focused on enabling participants to interactively get to know each other, have fun, and most importantly, learn something more. The conference hosts themselves were people from various walks of life and from different countries. Mostly professors at European universities or people working in European institutions and organizations.

It was a journey full of new knowledge, interesting perspectives, lecturers' experiences, and especially interaction between participants and speakers. They tried to answer almost every question during the live broadcast and delighted curious participants with the scientific experiences they had gained during their academic lives.

We are very glad that we could be part of such an interesting and comprehensive project as #5030remember undoubtedly was. We believe that the activities carried out and primarily organized by our side also found their fans and gave them more in life than just a few pieces of information about what the world looked like from 80 (50+30) years ago to the present.
