Project Organizer: Monomyths

The youth exchange will take place from March 13 – 20, 2026 in Călărași, Romania.

Main Goal: To help youth workers create educational experiences using neuroscience, learning theories, and practical experience design tools.

Project Objectives:

Understand how people learn and retain information.
Utilize learning design models and frameworks
Explore learner types, cognitive biases, and major learning theories.
Use gamified learning to engage participants.

Working Language: English.

Number of Participants: 3

Ideal Participant Profile:

Primarily youth workers, but also youth leaders and volunteers who actively work with young people and are interested in learning design, non-formal education, and increasing the impact of educational activities.
Fluent English
Must be 18+ years old.

Important Information:

Accommodation, meals, materials, and travel costs (up to the maximum allowed amount) are covered.

Extremely Important: Keep all travel documents and tickets for reimbursement – the participant must keep travel documents for both to and from the venue and submit them / send them to the project organizer according to their instructions.

Insurance: Travel insurance is not covered or reimbursed by the organizers. Each participant is obliged to arrange health insurance valid in Romania.

Purchase tickets only after written confirmation from the organizers.
All participants must attend all meetings and subsequent dissemination activities.
