Project Organizer: FECE

The youth exchange will take place from September 22 to 26 in Varna, Bulgaria.

Main Goal: To explore European Youth Goal No. 4 – Information and Constructive Dialogue and to familiarize participants with the basic principles of civic journalism and responsible media consumption and creation through various non-formal activities, group tasks, and a collection of street interviews on important public topics. The project will enable participants to report on topics they consider key for the future of the EU, following the principles of ethical journalism, while developing analytical thinking, critical thinking, and the ability to work in a group in an international environment.

Project Objectives:

To raise awareness about the importance of civic journalism as a tool to combat disinformation.
To acquire new knowledge and skills in creating quality journalistic contributions.
To promote the EU Youth Strategy and European Youth Goal No. 4 – Information and Constructive Dialogue.
To develop participants' cooperation, critical thinking, analytical, and leadership skills.
To raise awareness about the importance of young people's voices in exploring and reporting on social issues that young people consider important.

Important Information:

Accommodation, meals, materials, and travel costs (up to the maximum allowed amount) are covered.

Travel Cost Limits: 309 € (417 € for green travel)

Extremely Important: Keep all travel documents and tickets for reimbursement – the participant must keep the travel document to and from the venue and submit it / send it to the project organizer according to their instructions.

Insurance: Travel insurance is not covered or reimbursed by the organizers. Each participant is obliged to arrange health insurance valid in Bulgaria.

Purchase tickets only after written confirmation from the organizers.
All participants must attend all meetings and subsequent dissemination activities.
