Project organizer: STUDIO PROGETTO

The youth exchange will take place from March 31 to April 7, 2025.

Main objective: To train youth workers in the ability to devise and use creative and innovative methods and tools for working with young people, in order to
increase young people's knowledge, understanding, and awareness of the importance of the EU and contribute to the fight against populist movements.

Project objectives:

Familiarization with the EU Youth Strategy "Engage, Connect, Empower Young People"
Exploring the four fundamental freedoms in the European Union
Non-formal learning methods and tools in the fight against populism among young people
Learning about the work of the European Union Agency for Fundamental Rights and familiarizing oneself with the Charter of Fundamental Rights of the European Union
The meaning and importance of media literacy and its contribution to maintaining democracy
Building partnerships and initiating projects

Working language: English.

Number of participants: 3

Ideal participant profile:

21+ (no upper age limit)
Youth workers and leaders working directly with marginalized young people (e.g., immigrants, minorities, Roma, etc.)
Those who can attend the entire training
Have organizational support for further activities with young people
English speakers

Important information:

Accommodation, meals, materials, and travel costs (up to the maximum allowed amount) are covered.

Travel cost limits: 309 € (417 € for green travel)

Extremely important: Keep all travel documents and tickets for reimbursement – the participant must keep travel documents to and from the venue and submit them / send them to the project organizer according to their instructions.

Insurance: Travel insurance is not covered or reimbursed by the organizers. Each participant is obliged to arrange health insurance valid in Italy.

Purchase tickets only after written confirmation from the organizers.
All participants must attend all meetings and subsequent dissemination activities.
