The youth exchange will take place from April 5 to April 13, 2025.
Main objective: This project, "Play & Resolve: Gamified Solutions for Peacebuilding," utilizes gamification as a powerful non-formal education tool to promote peacebuilding and conflict resolution. Escape rooms and board games provide immersive, hands-on experiences that foster teamwork, critical thinking, empathy, and dialogue – all essential for conflict transformation.
Project objectives:
To train 30 youth workers from partner organizations in designing and implementing escape rooms and board games as educational tools for peacebuilding. To facilitate the exchange of good practices in non-formal education and conflict resolution methodologies. To create a toolkit for youth workers to integrate escape rooms and board games into peace education programs. To deepen intercultural understanding and cooperation among participants in addressing conflict transformation at local, national, and international levels.

Ideal participant profile:
Currently working regularly with young people.
A mix of existing and experienced youth workers, as well as those new to conflict transformation and the use of escape rooms and board games.
Demonstrated social sensitivity (socially active youth workers/volunteers with a role in local communities).
Important information:
Accommodation, meals, materials, and travel costs (up to the maximum allowed amount) are covered.
Travel cost limits: 275 €
Extremely important: Keep all travel documents and tickets for reimbursement – the participant must keep travel documents to and from the venue and submit them / send them to the project organizer according to their instructions.
Insurance: Travel insurance is not covered or reimbursed by the organizers. Each participant is obliged to arrange health insurance valid in Bulgaria.
Purchase tickets only after written confirmation from the organizers.
All participants must attend all meetings and subsequent dissemination activities.
