The youth exchange will take place between 5th of April and 13th of April 2025.

Overall goal: This project, “Play & Resolve: Gamified Solutions for Peacebuilding,” leverages gamification as a powerful, non
formal education tool to foster peacebuilding and conflict resolution. Escape rooms and board games provide
immersive, hands-on experiences that promote teamwork, critical thinking, empathy, and dialogue, all of which are
essential for conflict transformation.

Project objectives:

• Train 30 youth workers from partner organizations in designing and implementing escape
  rooms and board games as educational tools for peacebuilding.Facilitate the exchange of good practices in non-formal education and conflict resolution
  methodologies.Develop a toolkit for youth workers on integrating escape rooms and board games into
  peace education programs.Enhance intercultural understanding and cooperation among participants to address
  conflict transformation at a local, national, and international level

Ideal Participant profile:

• Currently involved in working with young people on the regular basis.

• Mix of existing and experienced youth workers but also youth workers who are new or newish to conflic
  transformation as well as usage of escape rooms and board games

• Demonstration of social sensibilities (socially active youth workers/volunteers with a role in local
  communities).

Important information:

Accommodation, food, materials, and travel costs (up to the maximum allowed amount) are covered.

Travel cost limits: 275€

Extremely important: Keep all travel receipts and tickets for reimbursement, as the participant must keep the travel document to and from the destination and hand it over / send it to the project organizer according their instructions.

Insurance: Travel insurance is NOT paid by the organizers or subsequently reimbursed. Each participant is obliged to take out health insurance, which is valid in Bulgaria.

• Only purchase tickets after receiving written confirmation from the organizers.

• All participants must attend all sessions and participate in dissemination activities afterwards.
