Project Organizer: yEUth
The youth exchange will take place from November 11 – 19, 2025 in Schaijk, Netherlands.
Main Goal: Understanding the impact of disinformation on democratic life and EU values.
Project Objectives:
Enable youth workers to effectively monitor and combat
disinformation using digital tools to identify false
informationExplore the motives behind hoaxes and the
psychological impact of disinformation on EU citizens
Recognize the influence of social networks and AI on the creation of fake
newsUnderstand how disinformation affects democratic life and EU
values and ways to combat it in the daily work of youth
workersCreate two main resources: a “toolkit” and short educational
videos on how to address and combat hoaxes
Working language: English.
Number of participants: 4
Ideal participant profile:
Fluent English
21 – 45 years old
Important information:
Accommodation, meals, materials, and travel costs (up to the maximum allowed amount) are covered.
Travel cost limits: 309 €
Extremely important: Keep all travel documents and tickets for reimbursement – the participant must keep travel documents to and from the venue and submit them / send them to the project organizer according to their instructions.
Insurance: Travel insurance is not covered or reimbursed by the organizers. Each participant is required to arrange health insurance valid in the Netherlands.
Purchase tickets only after written confirmation from the organizers.
All participants must attend all meetings and subsequent dissemination activities.
