Project organizer: O.A.ZA. – Sustainable Alternative to Community

The training will take place from October 18 – 24, 2026 on Iž Island, Croatia.

Main objective: The training will explore social entrepreneurship as a tool to engage young people in (pro)active community life and to understand a more sustainable way of doing business.

Project objectives:

  • To train and become an effective coach for young people in the pre-incubation phase of impact entrepreneurship. To practice the pedagogical toolkit in the context of other tools. To develop a specific action plan tailored to one's own reality. To create opportunities for networking and exchange of practices among participants.

Working language: English.

Number of participants: 3 – 4 participants

Ideal participant profile:

  • Age: 18+

  • Beginner or experienced youth workers, project managers, and leaders of youth organizations.

  • Interested in sustainability and facilitating non-formal education. Committed to full and active participation (preparation, training, and subsequent dissemination of results).

Important information:

Accommodation, meals, materials, and travel costs (up to the maximum allowed amount) are covered.

Travel cost limits: 211 € / 285 € (for green travel)

Extremely important: Keep all travel documents and tickets for reimbursement – the participant must keep the travel document to and from the venue and submit it / send it to the project organizer according to their instructions.

Insurance: Travel insurance is not covered or reimbursed by the organizers. Each participant is obliged to arrange health insurance valid in Croatia.

  • Purchase tickets only after written confirmation from the organizers.

  • All participants must attend all meetings and subsequent activities for the dissemination of results.
