Project Organizer: BRF Youth

The youth exchange will take place from July 19 to July 26, 2026 in Ogre and Riga, Latvia.

Main Goal:
To enable youth workers to reconnect with themselves, with others, and with nature through non-formal education, while strengthening their well-being, resilience, and ability to build meaningful relationships in both personal and
professional life.
Supporting young people begins with self-care; this training creates a space to slow down, reconnect, learn, and grow together.

Project Objectives:

  • Learn practical methods and tools, including psychological first aid

  • Discover self-care and mental well-being practices

  • Meet youth workers from across Europe

  • Share experiences and learn through non-formal education

  • Take time to reflect, recharge, and rediscover motivation

  • Gain inspiration and ideas to take back to work with young people

Working Language: English.

Number of Participants: 2 – 3

Ideal Participant Profile:

  • youth workers, mentors, trainers, facilitators, and others who work with young people

  • 18+

  • participants with fewer opportunities are especially welcome in this project

Important Information:

Accommodation, meals, materials, and travel costs (up to the maximum allowed amount) are covered.

Travel Cost Limits: 309 €

Extremely Important: Keep all travel documents and tickets for reimbursement – the participant must keep travel documents to and from the venue and submit them / send them to the project organizer according to their instructions.

Insurance: Travel insurance is not covered or reimbursed by the organizers. Each participant is obliged to arrange health insurance valid in Latvia.

  • Purchase tickets only after written confirmation from the organizers.

  • All participants must attend all meetings and subsequent dissemination activities.
