Inside Out Youth Mobility

Project organizer: Youthfully Yours SK

The youth mobility will take place from August 19 (arrival day) to August 24, 2026 (departure day) in Jahodná, Košice, Slovakia.

Main objective: To provide young people with the opportunity to experience outdoor education and equip them with tools for successful outdoor activities and collaboration.

Project goals:

To help participants better navigate nature and remain calm even in difficult, unexpected situations
To equip participants with basic wilderness survival skills, such as building a shelter, finding water, or starting a fire
To encourage participants to think more sustainably, reflect on their impact on the planet, and make more responsible environmental decisions in their daily lives
To support personal development by strengthening collaboration skills, such as the ability to solve problems in a group and work effectively with others
To foster intercultural learning, connection, and mutual support

Working language: English.

Number of participants: 25

Ideal participant profile:

15 – 18 years old
Motivated to develop basic wilderness survival skills
Able to communicate in English

Important information:

Accommodation, meals, materials, and travel costs (up to the maximum allowed amount) are covered.

Extremely important: Keep all travel documents and tickets for reimbursement – the participant must keep the travel document to and from the venue and submit it / send it to the project organizer according to their instructions.

Insurance: Travel insurance is not covered or reimbursed by the organizers. Each participant is obliged to arrange health insurance valid in Slovakia.

Only purchase tickets after written confirmation from the organizers.

All participants must attend all meetings and subsequent dissemination activities.
