YE: Green Souls
Main Goal:
To promote sustainability and a healthy lifestyle among young people through natural and intercultural learning experiences. The project emphasizes personal development, environmental awareness, and physical well-being in a collaborative international environment.
APV (Advance Planning Visit):
Dates: June 3 – 6, 2025 (June 3 and 6 are travel days)
Location: Recoaro Terme, Italy
Participants: 1 group leader
IMPORTANT!!!: The same leader must attend both the APV and the youth exchange. If not, the right to travel reimbursement is forfeited. Reimbursement occurs after the project ends and upon full participation in both parts.
Youth Exchange:
Dates: July 21 – 29, 2025
Location: Recoaro Terme, Italy
Participants: 5 + 1 (group leader)
To promote a sustainable lifestyle and healthy habits.
To increase environmental awareness through outdoor activities such as hiking, survival skills, and orienteering.
To foster intercultural understanding and teamwork.
To support independence and resilience through time spent in nature.
Working language: English
Participant Profile:
Participants per country: 5 + 1 (group leader)
Participant age: 16 – 19 years old
Group leader age: 21+ years old
English comprehension and communication skills
Venue: Hotel Isola, Recoaro Terme
Note: Self-managed accommodation (no hotel staff).
Bring your own bed linen/sheets or sleeping bag, toiletries, water bottle, and hiking boots.
Accommodation, food, and materials: Fully covered
Travel Reimbursement:
500 – 1999 km: 309 € (standard) / 417 € (green travel)
IMPORTANT: Keep all original tickets, boarding passes, and documents for reimbursement
Insurance: Travel insurance is not provided or reimbursed. Participants must have valid health insurance for Italy.
LEADERS MUST ATTEND BOTH THE APV AND THE YE – otherwise, the right to reimbursement is lost.
Tickets may only be purchased after written confirmation from the organizers.
Full participation in the entire program is mandatory.
Participants are also expected to engage in dissemination activities after the project.
